Smock Kit/ first line stuff

Here are some pictures from the stuff i use to have in my smock.
Unfortunately these are a little bit dark caused to the lightning conditions.

This is a baseline of the stuff I use. I always try to keep the front pockets relative empty and/ or only soft equipment in it. Crawling is much easier... Another advantage is that I have flexible space to put something specific in my first line when I need to.

and... lighters lighters lighters almost everywhere

From the inside of the jacket I removed some fabric to make the whole thing lighter.

The camo pattern is an improved pencott badlands sheme. It's my pattern for fall environment.

Oldschool Flecktarn

Just some old pics in good old and proven Flecktarn camouflage. Remember it was designed for european pine country...

Gear list from yesterday

Here you see some of the gear I had with me yesterday.
I also took pictures about some modifications I did to the backpacks.

This is not my personal 'have to' stuff what I took yesterday with me.

For example the hammock was just to relax a little on a one day trip.

All in all it was just a baseline on stuff I use.

Rucksack gear system

Here you see the rucksack system I use for a while now.

The Karrimor Predator 80-130 and the Predator 30 which works as a scout pack for me.

Both use the same type of buckles thats why it's quite easy to connect them.

Before I used those two the Berghaus Crusader in combination with the Centurio was the way I rocked the woods.

Multicam in a very green environment

First of all I am not a huge fan of the mc pattern. I do not try to put specific camo patterns in areas which they don t made for.
I use it for 3 main tasks:
1. As a pattern for winter environments in combination with overwhites.
2. Sometimes for areas I plan to go in and seam a little sand/ arid on google maps ;-)
3. For equipment as an universal color (same with coyote brown for bagpacks) which fits most of my other patterns.

The following pictures will offer the differences of positions in a very green area. Which is realy not the typical mc environment. 

Updated Pencott Badlands

New Backpack... Karrimor Predator 80-130

Whats quite irritating, the karrimor sabre 60-100 and the predator 80-130 are described different in sizing but in my tests there where no real differences in capacity.
For me the compressibility over my old berghaus crusader is a huge advantage thats why the predator is my new main backpack of choice.
I combine it with a 30 litre predator as daypack.
